Albendazole is a synthetic anthelmintic which belongs to the group of benzimidazole-derivatives with activity against a broad range of worms and at a higher dosage level also against adult stages of liver fluke.
Use Helmicide-vet to deworm cattle and small ruminants with following diseases:
- Trematodiasis (acute and chronic fasciolasis,
dicroceliasis, paramphistomidosis);
- Gastrointestinal nematodosis (haemonchosis, bunostomosis, esophagostomiasis, nematodirosis,
ostertagiosis, chabertiosis, cooperiosis, strongyloidosis, trichostrongylosis, trichocephaliasis, neoascaridosis);
- Pulmonary nematodosis (dictyocaulosis, protostrongilosis, mulleriosis, cystocaulosis);
- Cestodiasis (monieziasis, avitellinosis, thysanieziosis).
Helmicide-vet tablets are intended for single forced administration on the base of tongue. Dosage is listed below (tablets per body weight):
- Cattle: 1 tablet per 35kg (fasciolasis, dicroceliasis, paramphistomi dosis and ostertagiosis); 1 tablet per 50kg (cestodiasis and nematodosis);
- Sheep: 1 tablet per 45kg (fasciolasis, dicroceliasis, paramphistomidosis and protostrongylidosis); 1 tablet per 70kg (cestodiasis and nematodosis).
Increased individual sensitivity to the drug components. Do not use within lay period or the first half of pregnancy, as well as in contagious and debilitated animals.
Farm animals are allowed to be slaughtered for meat not earlier than 21 days after the last drug administration.
Milk of milking animals is esculent not earlier than 4 days after deworming. Meat of compulsorily slaughtered animals and milk received before stated period
termination can be used to feed fur animals.
Store in closed original package. Keep out of the reach of children. Store separately from food and animal feeding at 0°С-25°С. Protect from direct sunlight and moisture.
