Albendazole is a synthetic anthelmintic which belongs to the group of benzimidazole-derivatives with activity against a broad range of worms and at a higher dosage level also against adult stages of liver fluke.
A broad spectrum anthelmintic used in the control and treatment of gastro-intestinal roundworms & tapeworms, lungworms and liver flukes in cattle, calves, sheep and goats. It is also ovicidal and will kill worm and fluke eggs in animals.
Oral administration.
Worm Dose: 1 tablet per 48 kg body weight.
Fluke Dose: 1 tablet per 36 kg body weight.
Not to be used in animals known to be hypersensitive to the active ingredient.
Intensive use or misuse of anthelmintics can give rise to resistance.
Meat: 14 days.
Milk: 3 days.
Store in tightly cool, dry place protected from light.
