For treating various types of edema in cattle, horse, camels, sheep and goats. It can also be used to accelerate the elimination of a toxin. In cattle, furosamide is indicated for the treatment of physiological parturient edema of mammary gland and associated structures.
Cattle, sheep, goats, horses and camels.
For Intramuscular and intravenous injection.
Cattle:
20 ml once daily or 10 ml twice daily at 12 hour interval. Treatment must not exceed 48 hours postparturition.
Horses and camels:
The individual dose is 10 to 20 ml once or twice daily at 6 to 8 hour interval until desired results are achieved.
Sheep and goats: 2 to 5 ml once daily.
1. Hypokalemia, dehydration and low level of blood chloride can occur with long-term used and if used in large doses.
2. Combination with aminoglycosides should be avoided.
Meat: 5 days.
Milk: 3 days.
Store below 25°C. Protect from light.
