Levaphen is used for the prevention and treatment of infestations in small ruminants and cattle caused by the following worms:
•Gastrointestinal nematodes: Trichostrongylus spp, Cooperia spp, Ostertagia ostertagi (except inhibited larvae), Haemonchus spp,
Nematodirus spp, Bunostomum spp, Oesophagostomum spp;
• Lung strongs: Dictyocaulus viviparus.
For oral administration.
1 bolus per 40 kg body weight. Do not exceed 10 boluses per cattle and 1 bolus per sheep or goat.
Do not administer Levaphen to animals with severe renal and/or hepatic impairment.
Do not use in severely stressed or unhealthy animals.
Animals should not be treated within 14 days before or after treatment with organophosphorus compounds.
Symptoms may include hypersalivation, hyperesthesia and irritability, clonic seizures, central nervous system depression, dyspnea, defecation, urination and collapse. Animals generally recover within hours of drug administration.
Meat: 7 days.
Milk: 3 milkings.
Store below 30℃, in a dry place, away from direct sunlight.
